Funky Zone

Funky Zone is located over in Bais Godam. It’s an area that has a lot going on with all the warehouses and the railway lines nearby. We set this place up as a spot for people to just come and have some fun. It’s not a serious or stiff environment. We wanted it to feel a bit more relaxed and, well, funky. The building we are in is plain on the outside, but we tried to make it more interesting once you get through the door. We don't have a big corporate board or fancy investors. It’s just a local business we decided to start because we thought the area needed something like this. We have different stuff for people to do, mostly focused on younger folks or families looking for a break. It gets pretty loud on Saturdays. We don't have a script for how we talk to customers. We just treat people like people. Sometimes things break or we have to change the layout, and we just deal with it as it comes. We don't spend money on big ads. Most people find us by word of mouth or by just seeing the sign when they are driving through Bais Godam. It’s a simple setup, nothing too polished, just a place to hang out for a bit. We keep the doors open and the lights on, and that’s about it. We just want folks to have a place to go.
