Manish Garments

Manish Garments is right in the middle of the bustle at Chandpole Bazar. We are located at Jat Ke Kuwa Ka Rasta, which is right across from the Shiv Mandir. It’s a very busy area, especially during the festival seasons when the whole street is packed with people. You can hear the bells from the temple while we work. Our shop is at No. 818. It’s a small space, filled mostly with stacks of fabric and half-finished clothes. We’ve been working out of this spot for years. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there’s always someone around to help. We don’t have any big fancy displays or mannequins in the window. Mostly, people know us and just come in to see what’s new or to get something made. The lighting inside isn't the brightest, but we know our way around the sewing machines. We spend a lot of time cutting and stitching, trying to get the fits right. Sometimes the orders pile up, and we have to work into the night, but that’s just how the garment business goes. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it’s what we know. We like being part of the market. There’s a lot of history in these streets, and we’re just a small part of it. We don't make a big deal of anything; we just keep sewing and talking to the people who walk through our door.
