Velocity

We are tucked away at B-114 on Shoupur Road, right in Raghunath Puri-1 near Sanganer Bazar. The area is pretty traditional, but Velocity is our little attempt at doing something modern. It’s a small office, and we spend a lot of our time just looking at screens or talking about how to get things moving faster. Sanganer Bazar is right nearby, so there is always a lot of movement and noise outside, which keeps us awake. We aren't some giant firm with hundreds of employees. It’s a tight-knit group of us here. We started Velocity because we wanted a place where we could just work on our own terms. Sometimes we have clients coming in from across the city, and they get a bit lost looking for the Shoupur Road turnoff, but they eventually find us. We don't use a lot of fancy jargon or business talk. We just tell people what we can do and how long it’ll take. If we can't do something, we just say so. It saves everyone a lot of time. The office is usually a mess of papers and coffee mugs, but we know where everything is. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever is closest to the door. It’s a very practical way to run things, and it seems to work out for everyone involved. We just take it one day at a time.
