Udaipur Golden Transport Co is situated over in Barkat Nagar on Road No-6. Most people recognize the area because of the Laher Chappal Chouraha, which is a major landmark right by us. Being near that crossroads means there is always something happening. We spend our days watching the traffic flow through the intersection while we manage our transport schedules. It is a bit of a dusty life, standing out by the road and checking the loads on the back of the trucks. We’ve been at this location for years, and the locals around Road No-6 know us pretty well by now. Barkat Nagar is a busy place, and being at the Chappal Chouraha puts us right in the middle of it all. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know the routes and the vehicles. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when the monsoons turn the roads into a mess, but we keep going. The trucks are the most important part of what we do, so we spend a lot of time making sure they are fit for the road. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours. We don't use any fancy software, just our notebooks and our memories. People stop by the office to chat or ask for directions because we are so close to the main chouraha. It's just a regular day-to-day operation for us and we hope to keep it that way for many more years to come.
