Bharat Goods Transport Corporation

I am sitting here at the desk in Transport Nagar A 12. It’s another Tuesday and the sun is already coming through the window. Our place, Bharat Goods Transport Corporation, has been here for a while now. We don’t have any fancy carpets or air conditioning that works all the time, but we have our trucks and our logs. People come in, they ask about their stuff, and we tell them where the drivers are. It’s a lot of paperwork, honestly. Sometimes the tea guy is late and that’s the biggest drama of the morning. You see the same faces every day in this part of the city. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to make sure the goods get moved from one place to another without too much trouble. My father started this and now I handle the day to day. It gets dusty outside with all the heavy vehicles moving around the lot. You get used to the smell of diesel and the sound of horns after a week or two. Bharat Goods Transport Corporation is just a regular office where we work hard and go home when the sun goes down. There isn't much more to it than that. We keep the registers updated and talk to the guys on the road. It’s a simple life at A 12.
