Jai Shanker Transport Co has been running out of Transport Nagar C 15 for a long time now. If you’ve ever been down this way, you know it’s mostly just rows of trucks and a lot of dust in the air. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a small space with some old desks and a phone that never stops ringing. My brother and I started this business because we knew how to drive and we knew the routes. We don't try to sound like some big international firm. We are just local people who move goods from one place to another. Most of our days are spent talking to drivers and making sure the lorries are loaded up right. Sometimes things go wrong, like an engine part failing or a road being closed, but we just handle it. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just take your stuff, put it in a truck, and get it where it needs to go. We’ve seen a lot of businesses in C 15 come and go over the years, but we’re still here. It’s hard work and the hours are long, but it’s an honest living. We don't do much advertising because most people around here already know where to find us. We just keep things simple and keep the trucks moving every day.
