We run our container business out of B-5 in the Jayanti Market Anaj Mandi area. It's a very busy place with a lot of heavy vehicles moving around all the time. Our focus is mainly on moving containers, which is a lot more complicated than it looks because of the scheduling and the heavy equipment involved. The office is right in the middle of all the action, which makes it easier to keep an eye on the trailers. It is not a quiet place at all. You can always hear the sound of horns and engines. We have a small team here who manages the logs and talks to the port authorities and the drivers on the road. We have had our share of long nights when a truck gets stuck or a container is delayed at the yard. We don't bother with anything flashy. The furniture is old and the tea is usually strong. Most of the people we work with are traders from the market who have been using us for years. We know the routes and we know the problems that can come up. It's a tough business but we have stuck with it. We just aim to get the containers where they need to go without any extra trouble. Sometimes the paperwork gets overwhelming with all the permits and tax forms, but we manage. There is a lot of dust that comes in from the Mandi road, so we are always cleaning the desks. It is just part of being in this location.
