Globe International Carriers Pvt. Ltd. is located right on Station Road, occupying rooms 205 and 206. Since we are so close to the station, there is always the sound of trains and whistles in the background, which we have just learned to ignore over the years. Our office is on the second floor, and it’s a fairly old building with narrow corridors. We don’t have any fancy signs or modern glass walls, just two rooms filled with old ledger books and computers that have seen better days. It’s a very functional space where we spend most of our time coordinating carrier services and talking to clients on the phone. The desks are covered with stacks of papers and there’s always a teapot sitting somewhere. We don’t use any polished language or try to impress anyone with big words. Most of the people we work with are regular traders and businesses who just want their stuff moved from one place to another. The air in the office is usually a bit stuffy, so we keep the windows open even if it means more noise from the street below. We have a small group of staff who have been with us for a long time, so we work like a family more than a company. It’s a bit messy sometimes and the filing system isn’t perfect, but we know where everything is. We just keep the business going one day at a time.
