Darbar Transport

We are over at A 29 in Transport Nagar. Darbar Transport is basically a place where we manage a fleet of vehicles. If you’ve ever been to Transport Nagar, you know it’s a place where there is a lot of dust and the constant sound of engines. Our office is right in the heart of that. It’s a plain room where we do our planning. We aren't interested in looking corporate or professional in a fancy way. We are transport people, and we dress for the job. Our day starts early, checking which trucks are ready to go and which ones need repairs. We handle a lot of different types of cargo, and every load has its own set of rules. We spend a lot of time on the phone, sometimes shouting a bit to be heard over the noise outside. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We don't have a mission statement or any of that. We just want to get the trucks loaded and out on the road. We know most of the other people in Transport Nagar, and we often help each other out with tools or advice. It’s a tough business sometimes, but it’s what we know. We’ve been at A 29 for years, and we don't plan on going anywhere. We just keep doing what we do, one day at a time.
