Ashok Freight Carriers

Ashok Freight Carriers is located over at Ajmer Road in Keshav Nagar, right near the New Octroi Naka 40. Being near the octroi naka means we see a lot of different trucks passing through at all hours of the night. It is a dusty spot and the noise of the highway is something you just get used to after a few days. Our space is pretty basic, mostly just an area for the trucks to park and a small room where we keep the records. We handle a lot of freight going in different directions, and the guys who work here spend most of their time checking the ropes and making sure the tarps are tied down tight so nothing gets wet if it rains. The road can be unpredictable, with blocks and repairs always happening, so we spend a lot of time on the phone checking where everyone is. We have a few old desks and some chairs that have seen better days, but they work for when we need to sit down and figure out the routes. It is a straightforward kind of business where we don't try to look fancy or act like we are bigger than we are. We just focus on the loads we have for the day and try to get the drivers on their way as soon as the paperwork is done. It is a lot of repeating the same tasks, but that is how freight works.
