Traditional Collections

Our little shop, Traditional Collections, is tucked away at 310, Tirupati Vihar -6. If you know the Jhotwara area, we are right off Benad Road. It’s a bit of a climb or a walk depending on where you park, but we like it here. We started this because we wanted to have a place for local items that people actually use. It’s not a huge showroom with bright lights and pushy people. Usually, it’s just one or two of us around to help out. We spend a lot of time unpacking boxes and arranging the displays so people can see what we have. Sometimes the place gets a little crowded when a new shipment comes in, but we manage. Jhotwara is a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside. We just stay focused on what’s inside the four walls. We don’t really do big ads or anything like that. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them about us. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, open the doors, and work through the list of things that need doing. It’s been a good experience being part of the community here on Benad Road. We keep the kettle going and just handle the daily tasks as they come. It’s a modest setup but it works for what we need. We're just glad to be here doing this work every day.
