Mamta Handicrafts

Mamta Handicrafts is located up on the second floor of A-8 in the New Anaj Mandi area. You have to head into Chandpole Bazaar to find us. It’s a busy climb up the stairs, but it's quieter up there than down on the street level where all the grain trading happens. We’ve been in this building for a bit. The space is packed with all sorts of things we’ve made over the months. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren’t looking for it, but we like the location. It keeps us close to the middle of everything. We aren't a big operation. It’s just a few of us handling the daily tasks. We spend a lot of time sorting through materials and making sure things are packed right for when they need to go out. The light in the afternoon is pretty good through the windows. It helps when you’re working on small details. Sometimes the market downstairs gets so loud we can hardly hear each other, but you get used to it. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby. If you come by, you’ll just see us working. We don't put on a show for anyone. It’s just a regular workplace in an old part of town. We keep it simple and keep our heads down.
