Shashi Crafts

Shashi Crafts is located in the Vishveshvariya Nagar area, specifically in office numbers 115 and 116. We are right by Arjun Nagar and the Gopalpura Bypass, so the sound of the vehicles on the Triveni Flyover is something we hear all day long. The office is a bit of a walk from the main road, but it's not too hard to find once you know where to look. We have two rooms that are filled with various craft items and samples we’ve collected over the years. The desks are old wooden ones that have plenty of scratches on them. We don’t really have a marketing department or anyone like that. Usually, it’s just us sitting here, handling the orders and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes the bins for the samples overflow and we have to spend a whole afternoon just sorting through things. The air in the office is usually a bit still, so we keep the fans going at full speed most of the time. It’s a practical place to work. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate slogans hanging up. We just come in, do what needs to be done for the day, and then lock up the two offices before heading home. It's a simple way to run a business and it seems to work out okay for us. We just focus on the day-to-day and keep things moving as best as we can without too much fuss.
