The Decorators

We are located at 405 Unnati Tower, right in the Central Spine area of Vidhyadhar Nagar. It’s a tall building and being on the fourth floor gives us a bit of a view of the busy street below. The Decorators is basically just a group of us who like working with our hands and making spaces look better. Our office is usually a mess of fabric swatches, color palettes, and rolls of wallpaper leaning against the walls. We don't really have a showroom; it's more like a workshop where we sit down with people and figure out what they want for their homes or shops. Sometimes we are out all day at different sites, checking on the painters or the carpenters, so the office stays locked up for a while. Vidhyadhar Nagar is a nice area, and being in the Central Spine means there are always people walking around. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers, trying to track down a specific type of curtain rod or a certain shade of paint that someone saw in a magazine. It’s not always glamorous work; there’s a lot of dust and cleaning up after a job is finished. We just enjoy seeing a room change from something plain into something that feels more like a home. We don't have a big corporate structure, just a few of us who know how to pick the right colors.
