You can find us at 13 Johari Bazar, inside Diggi Katla. This is one of the oldest and busiest parts of the city. Our office is tucked away in a spot that’s been around for generations. We do various types of office work and handle a lot of files. The walls are lined with folders and papers that seem to grow every month. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than a few people are in here at once. Johari Bazar is famous for jewelry, but there are plenty of us doing other things in the little lanes and buildings nearby. We start our day when the market wakes up and usually leave when the shops start closing their shutters. There’s a lot of noise from the street below, but we’ve learned to tune it out. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. People mostly know us through word of mouth or because they’ve been coming to this area for years. It’s a very traditional way of doing business. We sit at our desks, go through the documents, and talk to whoever comes through the door. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s steady. We keep our coffee hot and our files in order as best as we can manage. Even when the monsoon rains make the old bazar streets a bit difficult, we are usually here doing what needs to be done.
