Yash Attraction

We are at 5 Nehru Bazar, and the name on the sign is Yash Attraction. It’s a lively spot to be in. Nehru Bazar is one of those places where you can hear five different conversations at once just by standing on the sidewalk. Our shop isn't massive, but we try to make the most of the shelves we have. We sell things that catch the eye, mostly for folks who want something new to wear or use. I spend a lot of time rearranging the displays because things get moved around by customers throughout the day. It’s just me and a couple of helpers most of the time. We don’t have a script for when people walk in. We just say hello and let them look around. If they have a question, we answer it. The fans hum all day long to keep the place cool, though it still gets warm when the shop is full. I remember when we first started, the street looked a bit different, but the energy is still the same. People come here looking for a bargain or something specific, and we do our best to help them find it. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and talking, which can be tiring by the evening. But when the lights go off and we lock up, it feels like a good day’s work was done and we go home.
