Christmas Gift Box

The office for Christmas Gift Box is tucked away on the 2192nd Floor of Belvedere Park. It is right there at Swej Farm Circle, which stays pretty busy since it is opposite Sanjeevani Hospital on New Sanganer Road. Being up on the second floor in Sodala means we get a bit of a view of the traffic below, but mostly we are focused on the stacks of boxes and packaging materials that fill up the rooms. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs when we have heavy loads, but you get used to it after a while. The space is often cluttered with ribbons, cardboard sheets, and tape dispensers because there is always something being put together. It gets a little hectic during the peak times of the year, and sometimes the floor is completely covered in scraps that we have to sweep up at the end of the shift. We aren’t a giant corporation with shiny lobbies; it is just a functional workspace where we get the boxes ready for whatever needs packing. The hospital across the road is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We spend our hours measuring, cutting, and folding. It is repetitive work but there is a certain rhythm to it that keeps us going through the afternoon. We just stay busy with the orders and try to make sure everything fits right.
