Tatar Foods Pvt Ltd is tucked away in Janta Colony at B-20. It is a quiet street compared to the big markets, but inside our place, things are always moving. We work with food, so we have to be careful about keeping things tidy, even if the building itself is a bit old. We spend our time processing and packaging things. There is usually a smell of spices or roasted grains in the air, depending on what we are working on that day. It is a small operation with just a few machines and some local people helping out. We don't have a big corporate office or a board of directors. It is more of a family feel here. We started in Janta Colony because it was convenient, and we just stayed. The neighbors sometimes complain about the noise of the delivery vans, but mostly they are used to us being at B-20. We don't do much in the way of big marketing. We just focus on the food we make and hope people like it enough to buy it again. Some days are slow, and we just sit and talk while we wait for the next batch to finish.
