Sunrise Foods

We are located out in the Jaitpura Udhyog Vihar industrial area. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but this is where all the big sheds are. Sunrise Foods occupies a few blocks here, specifically F-171 and the G-172, 173 units. It’s a lot of space, which we need for all the machines and the bags waiting to be filled. The air always smells like whatever we are processing that day. Sometimes it's a bit loud with the motors running, so you have to shout a little to be heard over the hum. We have a small crew of guys who have been with us for years. They know the machines better than I do, I think. We don't spend much time in an office; most of the work happens right on the floor. It can get quite hot in the summer months, especially in these tin-roof buildings. We just keep the water coolers running and get through the day. There is always a truck backing in or pulling out of the gates. It’s not a glamorous place, just a lot of concrete and metal and work. We started small and just kept adding these units as we needed more room. It's practical. We focus on getting the bags packed and loaded onto the transport trucks so they can get to the markets on time. It is just honest work that keeps us moving.
