Sitaram Company

Sitaram Company is over in the Jhalana Dungri area of Jaipur, near Raja Park Colony. We are located near Ghat Ki Guni, which is a pretty well-known spot around here. This whole part of the district is famous for stone, and we are right in the thick of it. The hills are close by and the air always feels a bit like stone and earth. Our setup is pretty simple. We have a lot of space for our materials and we spend most of the time outside. Jaipur gets incredibly hot, so the work is draining, but we just keep going. We handle all sorts of stone tasks and it is usually a bit messy. There are no polished floors or air-conditioned offices here. It is just a yard with stone and some basic tools. We have been working in this area for a long time and we know the neighborhood well. The trucks come through the colony roads and we spend hours loading them up. Sometimes we have a bit of a chat with the other shop owners nearby. It’s a community of people who all work with their hands. We just focus on our own tasks and try to stay productive throughout the week.
