Shri Ganesh Transport Company sits right on the Vkia Delhi By Pass Road No 14. If you know the area near Chandpole Bazar, you know how hectic it can get with the bypass traffic always humming in the background. It is a bit of a grit-and-grime location, but it works for what we do. The trucks are constantly coming off the main road and finding their way to our spot. It is not a quiet office. You have the sound of tires on the pavement and the occasional horn from the bypass. Sometimes the tea arrives cold because the boy got stuck waiting to cross the road. That is just part of the routine here. We spend our days mostly looking at schedules and making sure the drivers know where they are going. It is a lot of manual coordination. The building itself has seen better days, maybe needs a fresh coat of paint, but it stands strong. People stop by often because we are easy to spot once you get off the bypass. It is a local operation, nothing corporate about it. We have some old chairs and a desk that has been here since I can remember. The heat in the summer can be tough on this side of the road, but we keep the fans going. It is a very normal place with very normal people trying to keep things moving on time. Every day feels a little different.
