Shri Arihant Roadways

You can find us over on New Sanganer Road, right by the Gopalpura Bypass. We are situated quite close to the Kisan Dharam Kanta, so we see trucks getting weighed all day and night. The sound of the heavy engines is basically the background music for Shri Arihant Roadways. Working here means dealing with a lot of dust from the bypass road. Our office isn't anything special, just a place to keep the files and take a seat between jobs. We spend a lot of time waiting for drivers to show up or checking on the status of a load. It’s a lot of sitting and then a sudden rush of work when three trucks arrive at once. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know how the local roads work. Most of our conversations are about the price of diesel or which route is blocked for construction. The bypass is always changing, but we’ve stayed in this same spot. It’s a convenient location for the drivers because they can pull in easily from the main road. We keep a simple schedule and try to get the work done without making a big fuss about it. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon is unbearable, but we just turn on the fan and keep going. It’s honest work and we have been doing it this way for a long time. There is always something to do.
