Shree Om Roadlines

Our office is right by the Sanganer Tol Tax in the Sitapura Industrial Area. It is a busy spot and the air is always full of dust and the sound of big engines. We started this roadlines business because there was a need for moving things around this part of Jaipur. We have a few trucks and a small team of drivers. Most of the day is spent checking the logs and talking to people on the phone. It gets quite hot in the summer and we have a small plastic fan that barely works. We keep our ledger books on an old wooden desk. We don't have any fancy software, just pen and paper for most things. Sitapura is always crowded with trailers and lorries, so sometimes our drivers get stuck just trying to get out of the area. We handle all kinds of industrial loads. If it fits on the truck, we can take it. It is not an easy job and there are plenty of long nights waiting for a shipment to arrive. We drink a lot of chai from the stall across the road. We have been here for a long time and the regulars know us well. Our sign is a bit faded from the sun, but you can still read the name. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure the goods get to where they need to move.
