Shop And Grab

Our place, Shop And Grab, is located at Plot No-50 in Govind Nagar Ekta Vihar. It’s right in the Govind Nagar West area, near Krishan Kunj. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood for the most part, so having a shop here is interesting. We have boxes stacked up almost to the ceiling sometimes. It’s a mix of different things we sell, and the inventory changes based on what we can get our hands on. It’s not like those big supermarkets where everything is perfectly labeled. Here, you might have to ask where something is because I just moved the shelf yesterday. It’s just a couple of us running the show. We open up early and stay open until the last customer leaves. Sometimes the neighbor's kids come in just to look at things. We don't mind. The floor is concrete and the lights are those long tube lights that flicker once in a while. It feels like a real local shop. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure we didn't run out of the basics. When the delivery truck arrives, the whole street knows because it’s a tight fit in the lane. We’ve had to help the driver back out more than once. It’s a bit chaotic but it’s our chaos and we like it. Most of our regular customers live within walking distance.
