Saras Parlour

We are located at 57-58 in Raja Park. Most people in the area stop by for their daily milk, fresh curd, or a quick ice cream in the evening. It’s a small shop with a few large refrigerators humming all day long. Raja Park is a lively neighborhood, so there is always someone coming in, especially during the summer months when the demand for cold drinks and buttermilk is very high. We don't have a place to sit inside; it is mostly a walk-up counter where we hand over the packets. The floor is usually a bit wet from the crates being moved around or the ice melting. We open very early in the morning, before the sun is even up, so that people can get their fresh milk for their morning tea. It’s a simple routine that we have followed for years. We check the stock, clean the counters, and wait for the delivery truck to arrive with the day's supply. There isn't any fancy marketing here. People come because they know we have fresh stock every single day. Sometimes kids come in with their parents for a chocolate bar or a cone after dinner. It’s a friendly spot where we see the same neighbors every day. We don't try to be anything other than a local dairy booth that keeps the basic stuff in stock for the local families in the neighborhood.
