Yogesh Tobeko Co is located right in Tripoliya Bazar. If you know this area, you know how busy it gets with all the people walking by and the rickshaws. Our shop has been around for a good bit of time. It is a small space filled with the smell of tobacco and some other goods we keep. We open early because the market starts moving fast as soon as the sun is up. The walls are lined with wooden shelves that have been there since we started. Tripoliya Bazar is a crowded place, so there’s always noise coming in from the street. We spend most of the day just sitting on the stools and waiting for the regulars to stop by. Sometimes the stock arrives late and we have to move boxes around in the heat. It’s nothing special, just a local business in a busy part of town. We don't have fancy lights or a big glass front. It’s just the counter and the products we sell. Most people who come here are from the neighborhood or traders who have been coming for years. We know most of them by name. Sometimes we just sit and watch the crowd go by when it’s slow. It gets very hot in the summer months inside the shop. We just keep the fan going and stay busy with the ledger. It’s a plain way to earn a living but it works for us here. There's a small window that doesn't open all the way.
