Santosh Bearing

Our shop, Santosh Bearing, is at S-27 in Vidhyadhar Nagar, right across from the V K I Road. This is an area where a lot of industrial work happens, so we are in the right spot for what we do. We keep all kinds of bearings on the shelves, from small ones for light machines to the heavy ones that take two people to lift. The shop usually smells like machine oil and metal, which is just part of the job. We have stacks of boxes everywhere, and sometimes it takes a minute to find the exact part someone is looking for. It’s not a fancy place; we have a couple of metal chairs and a desk that has seen better days. We get a lot of mechanics and factory workers coming in who are in a hurry to get their machines running again. We don't spend money on fancy displays or marketing. We just know which bearing fits which machine. It can get pretty greasy work when we have to check sizes or show someone how a part fits. The road outside is always busy with trucks going to the industrial area, so it’s never really quiet here. We just stay focused on the inventory and helping the people who walk through the door. It’s a steady business and we like the people we meet. We've been here for years and the shelves are just getting more crowded as we go.
