Handmart Enterprises

Handmart Enterprises sits at Shop No. 575 on Lane No. 5 in Rani Sati Nagar. If you are coming from Ajmer Road, you have to turn into the lane and navigate through the usual crowd. It is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes because people park their scooters everywhere. The shop itself is small, but we make it work. We have shelves lining the walls from floor to ceiling to keep everything off the ground. It can get a bit stuffy in the summer, so we keep the fan running at full speed all day. Usually, the morning is quiet while we check the inventory, but it picks up after lunch. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure things get packed and sent out. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't found the time to move everything out of the way. We mostly talk to the same delivery guys who come by every afternoon. It is a simple life here in the market. We take our breaks when we can, usually getting some snacks from the small stall a few doors down. It is not a shiny showroom; it is just a place where we get things done. Most of our days are spent on the phone or writing out bills on the small wooden desk near the entrance. It feels like home after all these years of being in this same spot in Rani Sati Nagar. We know the neighbors well and the daily rhythm of the street.
