Udt Bearing Industries

We are over at No.15 in Sethi Colony. Udt Bearing Industries has been operating out of this specific spot for quite a long while now. It’s a relatively quiet street compared to the noisy main roads nearby, but we still get a lot of delivery trucks coming through throughout the day. Our place is mostly filled with steel bearings of all different shapes and sizes. If you walked into the shop, you’d probably notice the smell of the oil and grease we use to keep the metal parts from rusting. It’s a bit of a messy job sometimes, and our work clothes usually have a few dark stains by the end of the shift. We have a couple of heavy old workbenches where we inspect all the parts before they are sent out to customers. The lighting inside the warehouse isn't the best, so we often have to use some old desk lamps to see the small details and numbers on the metal surfaces. Sethi Colony is a nice place to work because it feels more like a lived-in neighborhood than a cold, empty industrial zone. We know the people who work at the shop next door and usually say hello when we are out on the sidewalk. We don't have a fancy reception area or a desk for visitors. If someone comes by to see us, they usually just walk right into the main workspace. We spend most of our time counting the stock and packing up boxes for the afternoon courier.
