Punjab Old Bearing House

If you come down Station Road by the railway station, you'll find us at Shop No-001. It’s a busy spot in Sansarchandra, especially with the Sindhi Camp crowd nearby. We’ve been here quite a long time now. Most days are spent sorting through different types of old bearings. It gets dusty in here, but that’s just how it is with this kind of stock. Some people come in looking for something very specific for an old machine they’re trying to fix. We don’t have everything organized in fancy computers, so we mostly rely on knowing what’s on the shelves by heart. The noise from the station is something you just get used to after a week. It’s a small shop, and sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a few customers show up at once. We usually have tea delivered from the stall around the corner twice a day. There isn't much to the place, just shelves and parts. We try to keep things moving. My father started things here, and not much has changed since then besides the traffic outside getting worse. We just keep doing what we do. If someone needs a bearing that's hard to find, they usually end up stopping by here eventually. It's a simple life running a shop in this part of town, dealing with local mechanics and people passing through the station every day.
