Sandwich Walas

We are located at A-3 in Crystal Court right in the middle of Malviya Nagar. This place is usually full of young people and shoppers walking around the mall. We started Sandwich Walas because we noticed there weren't many places to get a quick bite that didn't cost a lot. It is just a small counter really. We spend our whole day slicing bread and chopping vegetables like onions and capsicum. Our menu is just written on a board. We don't have a lot of space so everything happens right in front of the customers. You can hear the sound of the toaster clicking all day long. Sometimes when it gets crowded we might get the orders mixed up a little but we always fix it quickly. We use local bread from the bakery nearby because it stays soft. It is not some gourmet kitchen with expensive tools. We just use basic knives and a couple of sandwich presses. The staff is just a few local boys who live close by. We talk to the college kids while their sandwiches are grilling. It is a casual vibe here. We aren't trying to be the best or anything like that. We just want to make sure people don't go away hungry when they are out shopping in Malviya Nagar. It is a busy little corner for us and we enjoy the daily rush.
