Sampat Trading Co is situated at Dadi Ka Phatak in Deep Nagar. This part of town is always moving. If you know the Dadi Ka Phatak area, you know it can get quite lively with all the commuters. We’ve been operating from this spot in Deep Nagar for several years. The office is simple and functional. We have a few desks and a lot of paperwork. It’s not the kind of place with fancy furniture or bright lights. We prefer it this way because it feels more like home. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people who come into the shop. We deal with all sorts of things throughout the week. Sometimes it’s quiet, and other times everyone seems to show up at once. We don’t mind either way. My brother usually handles the logistics while I stay in the front to manage the walk-ins. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea when the weather gets a bit chilly. The neighborhood has changed a bit over the years, with new buildings going up, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. We like the stability of being here. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, do the work, and head home in the evening. There are no big secrets to how we run things, we just stay consistent and keep at it day after day. It works for us.
