Sai Ice Cream Parlour

Sai Ice Cream Parlour is on the second floor at No. 458 in the Mahima Trinity Mall. We are right near the Swage Farm area on the New Sanganer Road in Sodala. Being inside a mall means we see a whole lot of different people every single day. Some are just window shopping to pass the time and others are there to see a movie at the cinema. We have a small, simple counter where we serve everyone who stops by. The mall environment is nice for us because it has the air conditioning running, which helps keep our ice cream from melting too fast while we are trying to serve it. I usually get to work around ten in the morning to get all the machines set up and the flavors ready for the day. My younger brother usually comes in to take over for the evening shift so I can go home. Sodala is a very busy part of Jaipur, so there’s always a lot of noise and traffic happening just outside the doors. We try to keep the parlour looking decent and clean, but with kids running around, it’s a constant task to wipe down the tables and the floor. We don’t have a massive variety of flavors, just the ones that people actually ask for. It’s a very simple business model and we aren't trying to change the way things are done. We just want to give someone a cold scoop.
