If you go down Road No 14 in VKIA, you will find us at F 830. This is an industrial area, so it is always loud with the sound of machines and trucks moving back and forth. We have been operating out of this unit for a long time. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings or grease, and we all wear heavy boots to stay safe. It gets very hot in the afternoons, especially near the back where the heavy equipment is. We don't have a fancy office; it's just a small cabin with a desk covered in invoices and blueprints. Most of our day is spent making sure the production line doesn't stop. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend hours fixing it ourselves because waiting for a technician takes too long. We know most of the other guys working on this road, and we often share tools or help each other out when a truck gets stuck. It is hard work, and your hands are never really clean, even after scrubbing them at the end of the shift. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the day. There is no air conditioning here, just big fans that move the warm air around. We just focus on getting the parts out on time and making sure the quality is what it should be. It is just a regular factory life for us.
