Rajasthan Half Body Truck Union

Down here at S1 Tonk Road, things are always moving. If you know the area near Mahaveer Nagar, you know it’s a spot where there’s a lot of traffic and a lot of noise. That’s where the Rajasthan Half Body Truck Union operates from. We’re basically just a group of people who know trucks and how they work. Most days are spent talking to drivers or looking at schedules that never quite seem to stay the same for more than an hour. It’s a dusty place, to be honest. Being on Tonk Road means there’s always a layer of grit on the windows, but nobody really cares about that as long as the trucks are moving. We’ve got a small office space where we sit and drink chai while figuring out who is going where. It’s not corporate and there aren’t any people in suits running around. Just guys in shirts who know the routes better than they know their own backyards. When someone comes by looking for the union, they usually find us easily enough because of all the activity. We handle the paperwork and the disagreements and the scheduling without much fuss. It gets loud sometimes, especially when there’s a delay, but that’s just the nature of the business. We’ve been at S1 for a while now and we don't plan on shifting anywhere else. It’s home for us and the trucks and we just keep it simple every single day.
