Raj Dairy & General Store

Raj Dairy & General Store is over on 80 Feet Road in the Gangasagar area. We are near Bajri Mandi Road in Panchyawala, which is part of Vaishali Nagar in Jaipur. Since we are a dairy, the mornings are our busiest time. The fresh milk arrives very early, and people are already waiting outside with their containers. It can be a bit of a rush for an hour or two. After the milk is sold, things settle down and we focus on the general store side of things. We keep things like bread, eggs, and basic household items. The shop is located in a growing part of Jaipur, so there are always new people moving in. We have a couple of large refrigerators that hum all day long to keep the dairy products cold. The floor is usually a bit wet in the mornings from cleaning up after the milk delivery. I don't use any fancy software to keep track of sales, just a small notebook and a pen. It’s a local business and we like it that way. We know the milkman and we know the neighbors. Sometimes the Bajri Mandi Road gets very dusty with the trucks, so we have to keep the glass cases closed tight. We don't have any big marketing plans.
