D-19 on Shanti Path in Tilak Nagar is where we spend most of our time. Priya'S Designers Pvt. Ltd. started out much smaller than it is today, but we’ve stayed in the same general area because we like the vibe of Tilak Nagar. Shanti Path is a nice enough street, though it gets quite crowded in the evenings. Our office is a bit of a mix between a workshop and a workspace. You’ll see patterns pinned to the walls and stacks of different fabrics waiting to be cut. It’s not a polished boutique with bright lights; it’s where the actual work happens. Priya is usually around somewhere, checking on things or talking to the staff. We’ve got a small team, and most of us have been here for a long time. We don’t really go in for big advertisements or fancy slogans. Word of mouth has always been enough for us. The building is an older one, so it has its quirks, like the occasional leaky pipe or a door that sticks when it’s humid. We just fix things as they break and keep going. Lunchtime is usually a noisy affair with everyone sharing their dabbas. It’s a very human way to work. We don't pretend to be some giant international brand. We are just people who enjoy making things and being part of the Tilak Nagar community.
