Poornima Handicrafts

Our shop is at 91-92 in the M.G.D. Market, right in the heart of Tripolia Bazar. If you know Jaipur, you know this area is always full of life and a bit of chaos. Poornima Handicrafts is tucked away among many other shops, and it’s always a bit of a squeeze when we have a lot of stock coming in. The shelves are filled with all sorts of things, and sometimes it takes us a minute to find exactly what a customer is asking for. We don’t have a polished showroom with spotlights. It’s more of a traditional market setup where things are piled up and you have to look through them. The smell of the bazar, the spice, and the street food always drifts in through the front. We spend our days talking to people who walk by and managing the inventory in the back. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes and checking labels. We have a small wooden desk where we do all the billing, and the drawer always sticks a little bit. It’s a family-type atmosphere here, even if we aren’t all related. We’ve seen the market change over the seasons, from the heat of the summer to the busy festival times. It’s just our corner of the world, and we like the fast pace of the bazar life. There is always someone coming in for a chat or a quick look at the new items.
