Anand Handicrafts

Anand Handicrafts has been around for quite a while now. We are located on Amer Road in the Brahmpuri area. If you look right across from the new police station, you will see our shop. It is a busy street with plenty of people passing through to see the old parts of the city. Most days we are just inside working on various pieces. Some are small carvings and others are much larger items that take a lot of time. It is a simple place with dust on the floor and tools scattered on the tables. Sometimes the light isn't great, but we have worked here so long we know where everything is kept without looking. If you stop by, you will likely see one of us sitting by the front door. The building itself is old but it stays cool in the heat. We don't have any flashy signs or fancy displays like the shops you see in the mall. It is just a workshop where things get made by hand. We like being in Brahmpuri because it feels like a real neighborhood. It is noisy outside with all the horns and people shouting, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. We stay open until the sun goes down or until the work for the day is finished. It isn't a perfect setup, but it works for what we do here.
