Angira Handicrafts

Angira Handicrafts is tucked away in Ram Vihar Colony at A 7 Vijay Nagar. It’s a bit more of a residential-feeling area, which is nice because it’s not as loud as the main roads. We have our workspace set up here. It’s filled with all sorts of materials and half-finished pieces. There is usually a bit of sawdust or some scrap fabric on the floor. We don't try to keep it perfectly tidy because we are always in the middle of making something. It’s a small team here. We just sit around the tables and work on our crafts. Sometimes we have the radio playing in the background. It’s a steady kind of life. We don't have a big storefront with lights and displays. If you come by, you’ll see us actually working on the items. The shelves are mostly full of tools and supplies rather than finished products for show. We’ve been in Vijay Nagar for a while now and the locals know us. We don't do much in the way of marketing. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just walking past the gate. It’s an honest way to make a living. We just focus on the craft and let the rest take care of itself. We are just a group of people who enjoy working with our hands and creating things that people might find useful or nice for their homes every day.
