Pink City Express Travels

If you look for 1 Sodala Ganesh Nagar on New Sanganer Road, you will find Pink City Express Travels. It is a small spot but we handle a lot of movement. The office is right there on the corner, and it usually has a couple of drivers hanging around waiting for their next shift. We have been doing this for a while now. The chairs in the waiting area are a bit old, but they are comfortable enough if you’re waiting for a bus. We don’t go for anything too flashy. There is a small desk where we keep the ledger and the keys for the fleet. It’s a bit noisy because of the traffic on New Sanganer Road, but you get used to it after a week. Most of our work happens early in the morning or late at night when the long-distance trips start. We drink a lot of chai here to stay awake. Sometimes the phone rings at 3 AM because a passenger missed their stop or forgot a bag. We just deal with it. It’s not a glamorous job, but people need to get from one place to another, and we help them do that. We know the shortcuts around Sodala better than most. The signage out front is a bit faded from the sun, but everyone in the neighborhood knows where we are. It is just a regular place for regular travel.
