Pawan Tent Decorators

Pawan Tent Decorators is located over at Mangal Marg in Bapu Nagar, near Tonk Road. It is mostly a yard where we keep all our stuff. We have heaps of iron pipes, folded carpets, and those big wooden crates for the lights. When a wedding comes up, we have to load everything onto the mini-trucks. It is a lot of heavy lifting. My team and I spend most of our time out on the sites, sweating under the sun or working late at night with flashlights. We don't have a fancy showroom. If someone wants to talk about an event, they usually find us sitting among the rolls of cloth. Sometimes the fabric gets a bit dusty or a pole gets bent, so we spend our afternoons fixing things. The weather is our biggest problem. If it rains suddenly, we have to run to cover the decorative bits. It’s a stressful business during the peak season because everyone wants their setup ready at the same time. We don't make big promises, we just try to get the tent up and the chairs lined up properly before the guests arrive. Bapu Nagar is a nice area, but our work takes us all over the city. It’s just us doing the daily grind, making sure the curtains are straight and the lights are working. We’ve been doing this for years, and even though the work is physical and tiring, we enjoy seeing a blank space turn into something festive for a family.
