Paras Roadlines

Paras Roadlines operates out of 23 Transport Nagar, which is right near the Kabristan building. It’s an easy landmark to find if you are navigating the back streets here. The area is always buzzing with the sound of diesel engines and people shouting instructions. Our office is small and mostly filled with logbooks and old records of trips. We’ve spent years in this spot, watching the neighborhood change slightly, though it’s always remained a hub for transport. Most of our work involves coordinating with drivers and making sure the trucks are ready to head out. It’s a gritty job and we often end the day with dust on our shoes. There’s no air conditioning in the main bay, so we just keep the doors open and let the air circulate as much as it can. We aren't big on formal meetings or anything like that. Usually, decisions are made over a cup of tea standing near the entrance. It’s a very hands-on environment. Sometimes things get delayed because of traffic or weather, and we just have to sit tight and wait it out. That’s just the nature of the road business. We stay focused on the movement of goods and keeping the wheels turning. It’s a basic, honest way to make a living in this part of town. The building is a bit worn down, but it works for what we need to get done every day. We usually close up late when the last driver checks in.
