Ozone Decor

Being out here in the Ricco Industrial Area of Jaipur is different from the main city. Ozone Decor is at H147, right in the heart of the Mansarovar section. It’s a lot of grey buildings and big trucks around here. The dust from the factories nearby settles on everything, so I’m always wiping down the tables. It’s a practical place. We have a lot of space for our stuff, which is nice because things can get bulky. The afternoon sun hits the front of the building pretty hard. I keep a stack of old newspapers and some cold water in the corner for whoever stops by. Most people coming to Ozone Decor are looking for something specific for their projects. We don't have fancy displays or air conditioning that works all the time. It’s just a regular industrial unit. You can hear the sounds of machinery from the neighboring shops all day long. Sometimes it’s hard to hear the phone ringing. I’ve lived in Jaipur all my life and this part of Mansarovar has changed a lot lately. There are more small businesses popping up every month. We just keep our heads down and handle the work that comes in. At the end of the day, I lock up the big metal shutter and head out into the Jaipur traffic. It takes a while to get home, but that’s just part of the routine now. It is what it is.
