Oopper Resto Lounge

You have to take the elevator up to the 8th floor of the Aarcade building on Malviya Marg in C Scheme to find us. Being up this high means we get a decent breeze and a view of the city lights, which is why we liked the spot. It’s a lounge, but we don't try to make it feel too stiff or formal. The furniture is comfortable enough to sink into for a couple of hours. We have a mix of indoor and outdoor seating. Sometimes the wind picks up and we have to chase down a napkin, but that’s just part of being on a rooftop. The kitchen serves a bit of everything, mostly snacks and some heavier meals for those who are really hungry. It’s usually quiet in the afternoons, then it picks up once the sun goes down. We have a small staff who tries to keep everyone’s water glasses full and the plates moving. We’ve had some nights where every table is full and it gets a bit chaotic, but we manage. It’s a good place to see the sunset over Jaipur without all the noise from the street level. We aren’t trying to be the fanciest place in C Scheme; we just want a spot where you can look out over the city and have a decent meal. It’s a bit of a climb, but the view makes it worth it. We hope people feel relaxed here.
