Old Take Away Kabab Shop

We've been here at Shop Number 27 for a long time now. Most people find us because we are right on Ajmer Road, sitting just opposite Dr Vyas Hospital. It’s a busy spot in Jaipur, especially with Geetanjali Tower being so close by. Every morning, we start getting things ready early. There's a lot of chopping and prep work that goes into running a take-away place like this. It gets pretty hot near the grills, but that's just how it is. We see a lot of people coming through after visiting the hospital or just heading home from work. Some days are busier than others, especially when the weather is nice. We aren't a big fancy place, just a small shop where we try to keep things moving. The traffic on Ajmer Road is usually heavy, so it’s constant noise and people passing by. Sometimes we run out of things early if the crowd is big, which can be a bit of a headache. I’ve lived in Jaipur most of my life and this area has changed a lot over the years. We just keep doing what we do every day. The counters get a bit messy during the lunch rush, but we clean up when we can. It’s hard work, standing on your feet all day, but it’s what we know. Most of our regulars live nearby or work in the local offices. They just stop in, grab their food, and go.
