Nandu Paan Bhanda is over on Sanganer Road in the Jamdoli ML Quarter area. It’s a small stall, nothing too big or flashy. I’ve been here for years, watching the cars go by and serving people who stop their bikes for a quick paan. It’s a simple trade that I learned from my father. I spend my mornings getting the leaves ready and mixing the ingredients. Everything is kept in small containers right within reach. I usually stay open until the last bus goes by in the evening, just in case someone needs one more stop before going home. My hands are always green from the leaves by the end of the shift.
