Naman Food

Naman Food is located in Sethi Colony, which is usually a bit quieter than the main markets. I started this because I liked being around the kitchen and seeing things being made. We don't have a big fancy restaurant, just a place where we prepare everything and people come to pick it up or we send it out. The kitchen is always warm and smells like spices and oil. We spend most of our mornings chopping vegetables and getting the dough ready. My aunt helps out with some of the recipes because she has been cooking them for forty years. The shelves are full of big steel containers and bags of flour. Sometimes the delivery boys are waiting outside and we are rushing to get the packets sealed up in time. It is a lot of standing on your feet and the floor gets a bit slippery if we aren't careful. We use the address here in Sethi Colony for everything. Most of our neighbors know us by the smell of what we are cooking that day. It isn't a big operation but it keeps us busy from sunrise until well after dark. We try to keep things clean and simple. Some days are slow and we just sit by the door watching the cars go by, but usually, there is something that needs to be stirred or packed. It is a lot of work but we enjoy the routine of it all. We just make the food and hope people like it.
