Mexicaaano

Mexicaaano is located right on Ashok Marg in C Scheme. It's a spot we opened because we wanted to bring some different flavors to the area. We aren't professional chefs from some culinary school, just people who like to cook. The kitchen is small, so it can get pretty warm in there when the stove is going full blast. We try to keep things simple with the ingredients we can find locally. Sometimes the delivery truck is late and we have to adjust things on the fly, but that’s just part of running a small business in C Scheme. The seating area isn't huge, but it's cozy enough for a few friends to sit and eat. We spend a lot of time prepping the vegetables and making sure the sauces are right. It’s a lot of chopping and stirring throughout the day. People mostly come in during the evening hours when the sun goes down and the street cools off a bit. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that, just a sign outside on Ashok Marg. It’s a lot of hard work and late nights, but we enjoy the routine of it all. Most of our customers live or work nearby, so we see the same faces quite often. It feels like a neighborhood spot, which is exactly what we wanted when we started. It's nice if the food we make is enough to keep people coming back for more without us having to make a big fuss about it.
