Maharaja Carpets & Handicrafts

We have been at Samod Haveli over in Ganga Pole for a while now. It is a busy spot, but we like it here. We deal in carpets and different types of handicrafts. Most days are spent looking over the stock or talking to folks who stop by. It isn't a fancy setup, just a regular place where we keep our things. The building has some history, which is nice. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded with all the rugs around, but that is just how it goes when you have a lot of items to manage. My family has been doing this kind of work, and it is what we know. We do not have a big office or anything like that. Just the shop and the items we have gathered over time. If you walk past Ganga Pole, you will see us there. It’s mostly just us keeping busy with the daily chores of running a small business. We try to keep things organized, though some days are easier than others. There is always something to do, whether it is checking the weaving or moving boxes. It is steady work, and we stay focused on what is right in front of us. No big speeches or anything, just a local shop in an old part of town. We have got carpets of all sizes piled up. It smells like wool and old stone in here. That is just the way it is. We stay open most days and keep at it.
